I'm using this question as an example of how easy it is to give inaccurate information on bra fit forums.
Not to put anyone on the spot, but I feel like is a good example of how easy it is to give inaccurate info/bad advice on bra fit forums. It's easy, because there is so much info out there. To paraphrase, op asks "are all Comexim plunges the same?" and Meowgan17 (mod or former mod of ABraThatFits) tells her (I'm paraphrasing) "Theres [sic] also two different types of plunges..."
Nooooo. there are three.
There's a plunge -which is their most shallow of the three - which I usually see written as Comexim's "low plunge style," example, Ginger. You should be able to tell just from the pictures, it has a lower gore. Here is a review of Ginger, the valley girl.
2ndly, you have their classic plunge, this is most styles.
Lastly, there is the deeper plunge cut, ala Comexim Topaz, which is on clearance at Breakout Bras a.t.m. Like the first review on bratabase says, it runs about 1-cup larger than their classic plunge cut. The deeper plunge cut has been around for a while, it was mentioned in this review, I will be the coolest kid in 2017. It was also mentioned in this Review: Wellfitting by Comexim from Babes, Bras, and Booze in 2017. Also, I mentioned it when I reviewed Topaz on bratabase, and also made a couple posts about it here and here and we also discussed it on r/RunningOutOfLetters on another post.
Anyway, there's been a bunch of mentions lately.
The lady figured it out, so it's not the end of the world (see pic below) but this post just goes to show you: it doesn't matter if it's a mod (or in this case, former mod), it doesn't matter if it's a person who has been a part of bra fit forums for years - it's still easy to give inaccurate answers from time to time - just because there is so much info!
Also, the must upvoted comment might not be the correct answer. C'est la vie. As you can see the first comment got the most upvotes, it didn't answer the question in the best way (I mean, she did get 2 out of 3...) but PandoPando mentioned the deeper plunge cut.
